Job summary

Xircle Talent is recruiting for an international school client in Malaysia to appoint a Head of Sales responsible for owning the student enrolment funnel from enquiry to enrolment. The role combines direct family consultations, channel development, and leading the admissions team.

You will drive senior conversations with families, manage external channels, partner with marketing, and report on funnel metrics to leadership. Occasional weekends/evenings for enrolment events are required.

Qualifications

• Proven sales leadership with accountability for revenue or enrolment targets.
• Background in international/private education admissions preferred.
• Experience building and managing third-party or agent channels.
• Experience coaching a sales/admissions team.
• Strong consultative communication with parents and senior stakeholders (English; Mandarin or Bahasa Malaysia a plus).

Responsibilities

• Own the school's student enrolment target including new admissions and re-enrolment retention across the full funnel.
• Lead and develop the sales and admissions team with clear targets and discipline.
• Build and manage external enrolment channels (agents, feeder schools, relocation partners, networks).
• Handle senior and high-value family conversations with credibility and care.
• Collaborate with marketing to convert campaigns into qualified enquiries and provide market feedback.
• Plan and lead enrolment events (open days, tours, information sessions, fairs).
• Maintain accurate pipeline data in CRM and report performance, conversion, and forecasts to leadership.
• Work with academic and operational leadership to align admissions with capacity planning.
