Job summary

U Mobile Sdn Bhd in Sarawak is seeking a Head of Product Specialist to lead sales strategies and drive prepaid & Postpaid growth within the dealer network. You will guide a product and sales team, manage distributors, and ensure effective training on product and risk concepts.

The role emphasizes aggressive, target-driven leadership with a strong background in Telco or FMCG sales, and travel readiness. It offers a structured pathway in a market-leading telecom environment.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of sales experience in Telco / FMCG environments.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in sales team management.
• Aggressive and target-driven with a proven track record.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with distributors to manage dealers’ portfolio, providing system support (network, creation, modification, termination).
• Plan, lead, and monitor sales strategies and promotions to expand UM touchpoints and pyramid.
• Deepen dealer loyalty through activations (Prepaid with plans and Postpaid).
• Develop and deliver staff training on risk management and business continuity concepts.

The Day-To-Day Activities

• To work closely with distributor in managing dealers’ portfolio by providing system support ie. network, creation, modification and termination.
• To plan, lead, execute and monitor effectiveness of sales strategy and promotion plans by seeking new opportunity to expand UM touch point & pyramid.
• To deepen dealer’s loyalty through activations (Prepaid with plans and Postpaid).
• Develops and provides staff training on risk management and business continuity concepts and principles.
• To ensure proper training and knowledge on System and Product.
• Vigilant to market movement through market intelligence.
• To drive and coach Product Specialist / Sales Team to meet designated area / territory’s prepaid & Postpaid sales target and monitoring their sales performance.
• To proactively manage inter-department requirements and communication in order to meet sales objectives as well as optimizing support resources.

About You

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma / Degree or equivalent in any field.
• At least 6 years of sales experience in Telco / FMCG related environment with minimum 3 years of experience in sales team management.
• Aggressive and target driven.
• Sales driven With good track record.
• Possess own transport with a valid driving license.
• Willing to travel.
