Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Logistics Supervisor for a Food Manufacturing operation in Malaysia. You will oversee daily lorry fleet and delivery operations, managing 15-20 drivers and vehicles, with Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm and overtime when necessary.

Responsibilities include planning routes JB-KL long-haul deliveries, monitoring performance, coordinating with warehouse and sales, maintaining records, and ensuring SOP and safety compliance while guiding logistics staff.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, Business or related field.
• 3-5 years hands-on experience in fleet, transport, delivery or logistics operations.
• Experience managing multiple lorries/drivers and route planning; JB-KL long-haul delivery is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily lorry fleet and delivery operations, including 15-20 drivers/lorries.
• Plan and coordinate delivery routes and schedules, especially JB-KL long-haul deliveries.
• Monitor driver performance, trip schedules, delivery status and lorry utilisation.
• Coordinate with drivers, warehouse, loading and Sales teams to ensure timely deliveries.
• Handle delays, breakdowns, route changes and delivery discrepancies.
• Maintain delivery records, DOs, trip documents and daily logistics reports.
• Ensure drivers and fleet operations comply with SOPs and safety requirements.
• Supervise and guide logistics personnel and drivers to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Assist the Assistant Logistics Manager with fleet planning and operational improvements.
