Job summary

OCBC is seeking a senior IT leader in Kuala Lumpur to manage Core Banking & Cards systems and drive service delivery excellence. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, oversee vendors, and report to senior management, ensuring budgets and cost-saving targets are achieved.

The role requires a strategic thinker with 10+ years in IT leadership and strong communication skills to guide a large team and sustain 24x7 production support. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS/IT or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years leading a team of 15+ in IT operations.
• Experience with core banking or mission-critical applications.
• Ability to work 24x7 on escalation.

Responsibilities

• Manage Core Banking & Cards systems and ensure SLA/KPI compliance.
• Oversee vendor performance and contracts.
• Lead budgeting and cost-saving initiatives.
• Stakeholder reporting to senior management.
• Develop and mentor team members.
