Job summary

OCBC e2 Power Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of banking technology initiatives in Malaysia. You will define scope, develop plans, coordinate internal regional teams and external vendors, manage procurement and risk, and ensure documentation and governance are in place for successful project close.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 10 years of IT project management experience in banking/financial services.
PMP or PRINCE2 certification highly preferred.
Strong banking process, regulatory knowledge, and tech ecosystem understanding.
Excellent written and verbal communication with senior management presentation ability.
Proven leadership and cross-functional team management.
Proficient with MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, and Trello.

Responsibilities

Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Develop comprehensive project plans with scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risks.
Lead end-to-end IT project delivery, coordinating local and regional teams and vendors.
Manage procurement activities, including vendor evaluation and SOW development.
Maintain project documentation, RAID logs, and milestone sign-offs.
Provide executive-level status updates and timely reporting.
Transition deliverables to BAU/support teams after closure.
