TimeTec Computing Sdn Bhd is seeking a Hardware Support & Coordinator Executive (Access Control) to coordinate installation and on-site support of access control systems, LPR, CCTV, and related software.
You will work with technical teams, manage schedules, perform basic hardware testing and network checks, and assist with system integration while traveling for onsite support as needed.
Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and organized Hardware Technical Support & Coordinator Executive to coordinate installation and support jobs, follow up on site work, and assist with technical issues. You will work with access control hardware, related software, and system integration. Training will be provided.
Systems You Will Handle
Door access systems using cards, face recognition, fingerprints, and QR codes
License Plate Recognition (LPR) systems
CCTV systems
Access control software for door access, lift access, and LPR access
Software integration between access control devices and related systems
Key Responsibilities
Arrange installation, troubleshooting, and onsite support schedules with the technical team, installers, and vendors
Follow up on pending jobs and keep job statuses updated
Assist with hardware testing, setup, and basic troubleshooting
Assist with access control software setup and system integration
Check basic network settings, including IP addresses, routers, and port forwarding
Coordinate repair, replacement, and warranty cases
Respond to clients about hardware and related software issues
Provide online or onsite support when required
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking, Engineering, or a related field
Basic networking knowledge, including IP addresses, routers, and port forwarding
Basic knowledge of hardware and IT systems
Good communication and coordination skills
Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia
Responsible, organized, and willing to learn
Willing to travel for onsite support when required
Added Advantage
Experience with access control, LPR, or CCTV systems
Experience with software integration or system configuration
Experience in technical support, hardware installation, or troubleshooting
Working Scope
Mainly office-based
Occasionally required for on-site support
