Job summary

Jndesign Marketing Sdn Bhd in Johor Bahru area is seeking a hands-on Technical Project Manager to lead software projects from initiation to deployment. You will connect clients, management and internal tech teams to ensure on-time, in-scope delivery with high quality, and you will translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

The role requires strong planning, risk management, and client-facing communication, plus Mandarin proficiency for liaising with Mandarin-speaking

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on development background).
• Practical understanding of core programming concepts (e.g., HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Python, PHP, or Java) and software design fundamentals.
• At least 2-3 years of experience managing software development projects end to end.
• Strong project planning, risk, issue, dependency, change, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical matters clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Mandarin proficiency required to liaise directly with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead software projects from initiation to deployment.
• Act as the bridge between clients, management, and internal tech teams.
• Evaluate technical feasibility and unblock development teams.
• Translate complex technical concepts into updates for non-technical stakeholders.
• Manage project scope, milestones, and deliverables.
• Communicate progress, risks, blockers, and decisions clearly to all stakeholders.
• Promote ownership, accountability, and open communication across teams.
