The ideal candidate blends strong project delivery capabilities with a solid foundational understanding of programming, API logic, and software architecture. You won’t write daily code, but you must be able to evaluate technical feasibility, unblock development teams, and translate complex technical concepts into clear updates for non-technical stakeholders.
1. Project planning and delivery
Lead end-to-end software delivery across the full development lifecycle.
Define project scope, goals, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and key stakeholders.
2. Client and stakeholder management
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders.
Set clear expectations on scope, timeline, dependencies, responsibilities, and required decisions.
Provide concise, regular status updates covering progress, risks, blockers, decisions required, and next steps.
Ensure feedback, approvals, and outstanding actions are followed up and closed on time.
Handle difficult conversations and scope discussions professionally while protecting project outcomes and client relationships.
3. Cross-functional leadership
Build a working culture of ownership, accountability, and open communication.
Resolve coordination gaps, unclear ownership, and competing priorities before they affect delivery.
Support continuous improvement of project processes, templates, and ways of working.
