Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an experienced operations manager for a fast-paced Malay halal-focused restaurant in Kuala Lumpur. You will oversee daily restaurant operations, enforce SOPs, and drive service quality to ensure customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong leadership, inventory control, cost management, and halal compliance knowledge. Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia is preferred; weekend and holiday shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant or F&B operations, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Experience in halal restaurant operations or halal compliance is an advantage.
• Knowledge of inventory control, cost management, and staff scheduling.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment; willing to work shifts, weekends, holidays.
• Experience in mala tang is an advantage.
• Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia; Malay candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth workflow.
• Ensure all employees follow company SOPs and operational standards.
• Monitor food preparation, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally.
• Lead, supervise, and train restaurant staff; prepare staff schedules and manage attendance.
• Monitor inventory, stock replenishment, portion control, and food wastage.
• Ensure accurate cash handling and daily sales reporting.
