Job summary

Oakwood Cameron Highlands in Malaysia is seeking a Guest Services Officer to manage front desk activities including check-in, check-out, guest relations and cash handling, ensuring a warm welcome for guests. The role also supports mail, information services and night audit tasks.

You will collaborate with security for bell services, assist guests with telecommunication needs, monitor mail and receipts, and ensure accurate cash handling and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality front desk operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage front desk counter activities including check-in and check-out.
• Handle guest relations and complaints to increase satisfaction.
• Provide reception, mail, information services, cashiering and guest support.
• Assist in site inspections for potential guests.
• Work with Security Officers on bell services.
• Assist guests with telecommunication needs and wake-up calls.
• Perform Night Audit functions and daily cashier closure.
• Monitor incoming and outgoing mail and parcels; ensure records.
