Job summary

Lalamove is seeking a high-energy Business Development Associate to join our Asia intra-city delivery platform in Malaysia. You’ll source leads, onboard business users, and help grow our local partner network with a proactive, results-driven mindset.

Responsibilities cover negotiations, data analysis, client relationship management, and ensuring smooth sales operations. Strong communication and a can-do attitude will help you thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred but not mandatory.
Minimum of 1 year experience in sales or business development.
Fluency in Mandarin or Bahasa Malaysia is a plus

Responsibilities

Sales and lead sourcing: Acquire and onboard business users by maintaining a healthy pipeline of leads, ensuring the achievement of weekly sales targets.
Negotiation and deal closing: Lead contract negotiations to establish strong working relationships with our local partners, ensuring mutual growth and economic sustainability of the partnership.
Business analysis: Track sales trends, provide in-depth data analysis on products and business users, and identify opportunities for demand growth.
Client relationship management: Ensure excellent customer service by understanding client needs, responding promptly to queries, and offering effective solutions.
Sales operations: Implement Standard Operating Procedures and Policies accurately and in a timely manner.
Brand ambassador: Promote our services and values by becoming the face of Lalamove when engaging with local partners.
