Job summary

Lalamove Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Driver Operations Associate on a 6-month contract to strengthen our driver and fleet presence. This field role focuses on engagement with fleet owners, operator partners and automotive stakeholders to onboard, activate and expand driver supply within the local ecosystem.

You will identify referrers, develop new channels, and promote referral programmes while gathering feedback to inform market strategies.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in any field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in field sales, business development or driver recruitment is an advantage.
• Familiarity with local driver, automotive or logistics communities is beneficial.
• Willingness to spend time in the field at events and in the community.

Responsibilities

• Scout, engage and onboard fleet owners, transport operators, car rental companies and other businesses with access to potential drivers and vehicles.
• Identify and build relationships with referrers, industry influencers and driver-community leaders.
• Prospect and develop new driver acquisition channels including workshops, dealers, rental operators and driver communities.
• Promote Lalamove’s Driver-Refer-Driver programme to external drivers and referrers; explain benefits and eligibility.
• Develop and manage activities that generate high-quality driver leads and registrations.
• Engage drivers on the ground to gather feedback and market insights for the internal team.
• Monitor competitor activities and incentives to keep driver acquisition competitive.
• Build relationships with car clubs and automotive communities for events and sponsorships.
• Support field activations and community-engagement initiatives to boost visibility.
• Respond to driver enquiries and coordinate with internal teams to resolve onboarding issues.
