Job summary

Lalamove is seeking a Driver Community & Fleet Acquisition Associate in Penang for a 6-month contract. The role focuses on meeting people, identifying driver supply channels and onboarding fleet owners, operators, and partner businesses.

You will act as the company’s eyes and ears in the market, building relationships with drivers and automotive partners, gathering feedback and driving onboarding and activation efforts.

• Ability to listen to drivers and translate ground observations into insights.
• Autonomous and adaptable in a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Scout, engage and onboard fleet owners, transport operators, car rental companies and other businesses with access to potential drivers and vehicles.
• Identify and build relationships with key referrers, industry influencers, driver-community leaders and relevant trade or automotive associations.
• Promote and develop driver acquisition channels and sessions with partners and events.
• Provide feedback and market insights to internal teams based on field observations.
• Maintain accurate records of prospects, engagements, leads, onboarding progress and opportunities.
