Job summary

OKG JITSU MARKETING SDN. BHD. in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a driven Sales Executive to expand our building materials business across the local market. You will develop new customers, manage existing accounts, and identify project opportunities within construction and related industries.

The role requires strong communication in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia, a diploma in a related field, willingness to travel, and the ability to negotiate, present and close sales while hitting targets.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Business, Marketing, Construction, Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in building materials, construction, hardware, paint, waterproofing, roofing or related industries.
• Proficient in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Mandarin-speaking is required for interactions with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Independent, proactive and target-driven.
• Own transport and willing to travel for visits.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities within construction and building materials.
• Build relationships with contractors, developers, architects, interior designers, and hardware dealers.
• Manage and follow up with existing customers to generate repeat business.
• Conduct customer and site visits and product presentations.
• Prepare quotations and follow up on opportunities until closing.
• Identify potential construction and development projects.
• Provide product information and suitable solutions.
• Negotiate pricing and terms.
• Achieve sales targets and growth objectives.
• Monitor competitor activity and provide market feedback.
