Job summary

Esri Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Renewal Specialist to manage software maintenance and subscription renewals, ensuring customers renew their contracts on time and with maximum value. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to drive renewal strategies, forecast pipelines, and identify upsell opportunities while maintaining strong relationships and high retention.

Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Software Engineering or equivalent.
5 to 8+ years of experience in software renewals, subscription sales, customer success, inside sales, or account management.
Proficient in English and Malay, both written and spoken.
Experience leading renewal negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract renewals with mid- to large-scale customers.
Ability to identify upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities during renewal cycles.

Responsibilities

Own and drive the software renewal business, ensuring timely and successful renewals of subscriptions, maintenance, and annual recurring revenue contracts.
Develop and execute renewal strategies to maximize renewal rate, retention, and recurring revenue.
Forecast renewal pipelines accurately and track performance against targets.
Act as the primary escalation point for complex or high-value renewal accounts.
Proactively engage customers ahead of renewal cycles to understand usage, satisfaction, and risk indicators.
Work closely with customers to align renewals with business value, adoption, and long-term success.
