Job summary

Esri Malaysia is seeking a Renewal Specialist to manage software renewals, subscriptions, maintenance, and annual recurring revenue across key accounts, ensuring contracts renew on time. You will collaborate with customers and internal teams to craft renewal strategies, forecast pipelines, and identify upsell opportunities to grow existing accounts with additional products and services.

The ideal candidate has 5–8+ years in software renewals or account management, a degree in CS/IT/Software

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Software Engineering or equivalent.
5 to 8+ years of experience in software renewals, subscription sales, customer success, inside sales, or account management.
Proven experience managing recurring revenue models (subscription, maintenance, SaaS, licensing).
Experience leading renewal negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract renewals with mid- to large-scale customers.
Ability to identify and influence upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities during renewal cycles.
Excellent written and oral in English and Malay.

Responsibilities

Own and drive the software renewal business, ensuring timely and successful renewals of subscriptions, maintenance, and annual recurring revenue contracts.
Develop and execute renewal strategies to maximize renewal rate, retention, and recurring revenue.
Forecast renewal pipelines accurately and track performance against targets.
Act as the primary escalation point for complex or high-value renewal accounts.
Proactively engage customers ahead of renewal cycles to understand usage, satisfaction, and risk indicators.
Work closely with customers to align renewals with business value, adoption, and long-term success.
