Job summary

Vase.ai is actively seeking a Business Development Executive in Malaysia. You will own opportunities from first contact to closing, qualifying inbound and repeat leads, and delivering tailored demos that showcase Vase.ai solutions.

Build quotes, handle objections, and drive revenue while maintaining CRM accuracy. You will engage with diverse clients, stay curious, and learn to turn brief studies into repeat business.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of client-facing commercial experience with a track record of closing deals, hitting targets or growing client accounts.
• Experience in Research, consulting, marketing services, media or SaaS is relevant.
• Strong communication: comfortable leading client calls, presenting ideas, running demos, and adapting to different clients.
• Curious and resilient: eager to learn and turn setbacks into learning opportunities.
• Tech-savvy: comfortable using Google Workspace, Slack, and HubSpot, and quick to learn new tools.
• Right to work in Malaysia with a valid permit.

Responsibilities

• Own each assigned opportunity from first response through to closing.
• Qualify inbound and repeat leads by understanding business questions, research needs and objectives.
• Run tailored product demos, presenting Vase.ai services and solutions most relevant to each prospect.
• Build and present quotes and proposals, answer questions, handle objections, negotiate and close deals.
• Keep prospects engaged throughout the sales process with consistent follow-ups.
• Maintain accurate CRM records throughout the pipeline.
• Stay close to clients after delivery and identify new opportunities for repeat business.
