SKS Group in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, is seeking a dynamic Group Learning & Development Manager to lead learning and development initiatives across the group. This full-time role designs, implements, and evaluates training programmes aligned with business priorities, driving capability, engagement and retention across all levels.

You will manage LMS platforms, oversee budgets, collaborate with HR and department heads for leadership pipelines, monitor impact with metrics and stay ahead of industry

Qualificações

• Degree-level qualification in Human Resources, Training & Development, Education, Business Management or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in learning and development, training management or related HR functions, ideally within a group or multi-site organisation.
• Proven experience in designing and delivering effective training programmes for diverse audiences and at multiple organisational levels.
• Strong knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning theory and modern training methodologies.
• Demonstrated proficiency in managing learning management systems (LMS) and familiarity with digital learning tools and virtual training platforms.
• Experience with training needs analysis, learning evaluation frameworks and measuring training effectiveness.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver results within deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organisation.
• Strategic thinking capability combined with practical execution skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR/L&D software applications.
• Preferred: Experience with talent management, succession planning, and organisational development initiatives.
• Preferred: Professional qualification in training and development such as CIPD, ASTD or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute a comprehensive group-wide learning and development strategy aligned with organisational goals and business priorities
• Design, deliver and evaluate training programmes tailored to meet the needs of diverse employee groups across different departments and business units
• Identify learning and development needs through conducting skills gap analyses, surveys, and consultations with key stakeholders
• Lead the selection, implementation and management of learning management systems and training delivery platforms
• Manage the learning and development budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and delivering measurable return on investment
• Collaborate with HR and department heads to create targeted development programmes for leadership pipelines and succession planning
• Monitor and measure the effectiveness of training initiatives through data analysis, feedback collection and performance metrics
• Oversee the development and maintenance of training materials, resources and documentation across the group
• Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies in learning and development to continuously enhance programme delivery

About the role
