A fast-growing technology group focused on software development, operating under a decentralized, multi-entity model across Asia. This role manages group-level finance operations, supporting business expansion and strategic decision-making.
You will act as an independent Group Finance Manager, leading a regional finance team of 3–4 direct reports and overseeing multi-entity accounts, governance, and financial performance across jurisdictions.

As Group Finance / Accounting Manager, you will take end-to-end ownership of the Group’s financial framework — from hands-on full sets of accounts to group consolidation, reporting analytics, governance, and expansion support.
This role is open to:
Experienced Group Finance Managers, or
Strong Finance Managers without prior group title but with proven multiple-entity handling experience and readiness to step up.
Establish, document, and enforce group accounting policies, SOPs, and internal controls
Oversee full accounting cycle: month-end, year-end, consolidation, intercompany, audit readiness
Manage group consolidation and multi-entity financial reporting
Develop budgets, forecasts, cash flow, working capital, and scenario models
Oversee treasury, intercompany funding, liquidity, and risk exposure
Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, regulators, banks, and external stakeholders
Lead and mentor regional finance teams, ensuring confidentiality and governance
Provide financial insights to support expansion, market entry, and strategic initiatives
Ensure strict compliance with IFRS / local GAAP, tax, and regulatory requirements
Maintain high confidentiality and integrity, especially within a sensitive / regulated industry
Direct reporting to Finance Director / CFO
Act as key finance representative to:
Core Requirements
Strong hands-on full set of accounts experience (mandatory)
Proven experience handling multiple entities (group title not compulsory)
Comfortable working in a highly sensitive / regulated industry environment
Able to work independently, manage priorities, and handle confidential data
Willing to travel locally and overseas (25–50%)
Experience & Skills
8–12 years (flexible for strong candidates)
Group reporting, consolidation, and multi-entity exposure
Strong IFRS / GAAP knowledge
Advanced Excel, financial modelling, ERP/accounting systems
Strategic mindset with strong analytical ability
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA / ACCA / equivalent professional qualification strongly preferred.
Strong experience can substitute formal qualifications
Salary up to RM25k+ (based on experience & capability)
