Job summary

Businesslist is recruiting a Global Trade Operations Executive (Import/Export Verification) to verify invoices against rates, detect discrepancies, and maintain audit-ready documentation. The role requires attention to detail, SAP exposure, and good stakeholder management, with a path toward cost control and process improvements.

Fresh graduates are welcome; candidates with up to 2 years in supply chain or logistics will be considered.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Up to 2 years of experience within Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, Trade Operations.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Exposure to SAP, ERP systems, logistics operations, shipping documentation, freight forwarding, or import/export processes would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Verify freight, logistics, and supply chain service invoices against contracted rates, approved quotations, and supporting documentation.
• Review import/export-related charges including customs, detention, demurrage, transportation, and logistics costs.
• Ensure accurate recording of verified transactions within SAP and related systems.
• Investigate discrepancies and coordinate with service providers and internal stakeholders to resolve invoice and billing issues.
• Follow up on supporting documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and audit compliance.
• Support cost control, operational governance, and risk mitigation activities.
• Participate in process improvement, standardization, and digitalization initiatives.
• Maintain documentation required for audit readiness and operational controls.
