Job summary

Alfa Laval Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. seeks a detail‑oriented T&E Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations within the travel and expenses domain. The role involves processing expense reports, ensuring policy compliance, and supporting stakeholders across the organization.

You will drive process improvements, provide training, and perform reconciliations while collaborating with global teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and timely local decision support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in Travel & Expenses, Purchase to Pay, Accounts Payable.
• Experience with iScala and Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process employee expense reports and supporting documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
• Review expense claims for policy compliance and proper coding.
• Investigate and resolve complex T&E issues and stakeholder inquiries.
• Provide guidance on T&E policies and systems to users.
• Organize and deliver training sessions for employees and stakeholders.
• Contribute to process improvement, automation, and standardization initiatives.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of T&E-related GL accounts.
• Respond to escalated inquiries about payments and process-related matters.
• Prepare data, reports, and analyses to support local management decisions.
• Maintain and review process documentation and desktop procedures.
