Job summary

Alfa Laval Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented Finance professional to manage day-to-day accounting within the Travel & Expenses area. You will ensure timely processing of expense reports, review claims for policy compliance, and resolve complex T&E inquiries.

You will provide guidance on T&E processes, train users, and participate in process improvements, audits, and data analyses to support local management decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in Travel & Expense, Purchase to Pay, Accounts Payable.
• Experience with iScala and Power BI is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel) and ticketing tools (SNOW).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations within area of responsibility.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of employee expense reports and supporting documentation.
• Review expense claims for policy compliance, correct accounting treatment, and accurate coding.
• Investigate and resolve complex T&E issues and stakeholder inquiries.
• Provide guidance and training on T&E processes, policies, and systems.
• Participate in process improvement, automation, and standardization initiatives.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of T&E-related GL accounts.
• Support audit activities with required documentation and explanations.
• Prepare data, reports, and analyses to support local management decisions.
• Maintain process documentation and Desktop Procedures (DTPs).
• Assist with ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Team Leader or Supervisor.
