Job summary

MRT Solutions Sdn Bhd, a Malaysia-based procurement specialist with head office in Johor, seeks a Purchasing Executive to manage sourcing, supplier selection and purchase order processing.

You will coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure quality, timely delivery and cost savings, while maintaining accurate records. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply and bilingual communication is an asset.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM qualification; Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Logistics or a related field is an advantage.
• Preferably 1-3 years of working experience in purchasing, procurement or supplier sourcing.
• Fresh graduates with strong communication and organisational skills are encouraged to apply.
• Able to communicate effectively in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Experience in supplier sourcing, quotation comparison and purchase order processing is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Source and identify suitable local and overseas suppliers based on requirements.
• Request, collect and compare supplier quotations to ensure competitive pricing and terms.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions.
• Monitor orders and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with Operations, Sales and Accounts on purchasing needs and order fulfilment.
