Job summary

Hua Ao Sdn. Bhd. in Kuala Lumpur seeks a seasoned Settlement Operations Center Manager to lead the local settlement operation centre and drive cross-border collaboration with regional centers.

You will own day-to-day operations, design and rollout settlement standards, and ensure accuracy, reliability and regulatory compliance across geographies and time zones. You will manage multiple teams, oversee KPI/OKR performance, and partner with Finance, Risk and Compliance to implement controls, audits

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline.
• 5-7+ years in settlement/cash/fund operations in banking/finance.
• Proven leadership managing 20+ people.
• Ability to lead local and international teams.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin (written & spoken).

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple local teams and coordinate cross-border handoffs.
• Own center performance metrics end-to-end (KPI/OKR).
• Manage bank accounts and payments for multiple entities with proper controls.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and support audits.
• Collaborate with Finance, Risk, Compliance; escalate issues.
• Coordinate regional coverage including 24/7 operations and stakeholder communications.
• Undertake other settlement-related tasks as required.
