Job summary

PERSOL Workforce Solutions Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a detail-oriented candidate for a settlement operations role in Kuala Lumpur. Fresh graduates are welcome; you will handle Daily Settlement Processing and support system testing, with shift rotations and early-morning hours.

You will monitor and reconcile trades across Equity, Fixed Income, Discount and Cash products, contribute to risk controls, and maintain knowledge of market practices in the DCC Australia market.

Responsibilities

• Process trades efficiently and accurately according to established schedules and procedures.
• Manage the release of trades for pre-matching to ensure seamless settlement.
• Monitor and reconcile settlement activities for Equity, Fixed Income, Discount, and Cash products in the DCC Australia market.
• Ensure all tasks are handled effectively and deliver expected results within defined timelines.
• Contribute to maintaining a robust control environment to minimize operational risks.
• Actively participate in project-related activities, including system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) for new releases and enhancements.
• Support key initiatives such as SFE Release, SECORE Release, and Medium Risk EUC remediation efforts.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of cash, fixed income, equity, and discount product processes.
• Maintain current knowledge of market practices and regulatory requirements pertaining to settlement operations in the DCC Australia market.
