Job summary

Milkyway Supply Chain Group in Malaysia seeks a Market Development professional to drive overseas regional sales in ocean freight forwarding and chemical logistics, and to build a stable client portfolio.

You will manage overseas negotiations, quotations and contracts, promote ISO Tank leasing and related services, and coordinate closely with the China headquarters to ensure smooth order execution and long-term relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in ocean freight forwarding or chemical logistics.
• Familiarity with chemical logistics market in the assigned region.
• ISO Tank business experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Market Development: Responsible for overseas regional market development to achieve annual sales and performance targets.
• Client Management: Independently handle overseas client negotiations, quotations, pricing, contract alignments, and long-term relationship maintenance.
• Business Promotion & Coordination: Drive overseas tank container leasing, import/export ocean freight, and local destination delivery services; coordinate with China HQ operations and fleet management to ensure smooth execution.
• Market Intelligence: Collect data on local freight rates, tank container supply/demand, and competitors' strategies; generate overseas market analysis and strategies.
• Channel Building: Establish localized overseas sales channels and cultivate overseas agent resources to grow market share.
• Financial Risk Control: Manage credit terms and payment collections; ensure compliance and mitigate international trade, logistics, and FX risks.
