Job summary

Lam Research Corporation in Penang, Malaysia, seeks a Functional Quality Manager to strengthen the Global Operations team. You will apply structured problem-solving to drive operational excellence, lead quality initiatives, and support authoritative decision-making across the order fulfillment value chain.

In this role you will coach teams, conduct 8D problem solving, and push for standardization of processes to ensure reliable, on-time delivery and quality outcomes for Lam's customers

Qualifications

• Experience in quality management for order fulfillment processes.
• Proven track record leading quality improvement projects across functions.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Drive proactive quality performance and initiatives for the Order Fulfillment Management group.
• Engage with stakeholders across the value chain to address challenges and improve quality.
• Lead quality initiatives such as configuration engineering, BOM accuracy, root cause analysis, and quality leadership.
• Serve as Order Fulfillment lead to address systemic quality problems and enable corrective actions.
• Provide 8D coaching and problem-solving support to cross-functional teams and ensure timely closure of CAPAs.
• Promote standardization and streamlining of OM&E processes to support Lam’s build anywhere vision.
