Job summary

Lam Research in Batu Kawan, Penang, Malaysia is seeking an experienced Business Operations Manager to join the Order Execution and Order Management teams. You will partner with Spares Planning management to run business operations, financial reporting and drive operational excellence for the Global Spares Planning group.

The role requires leading complex projects in a matrix, aligning with stakeholders across functions, and mentoring team members to meet stretch targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering or related; advanced degree preferred.
• Ten years of progressive experience in a similar role.
• Five years in a leadership role with experience in Order Fulfillment, Planning, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Logistics.
• Experience in Service Parts Planning and knowledge of spares forecasting and materials processes.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills; able to operate in a global high-tech, matrix environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of group objectives (Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Plans).
• Provide leadership for Global Spares Planning performance using metrics and collaboration across matrixed teams.
• Ensure efficient operational processes delivering predictable stretch results.
• Drive data capture, process improvement, and compliance with procedures.
• Model Lam Management System usage and escalate to meet goals in a timely manner.
