Job summary

500 Global in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Global People Operations Associate to lead employment compliance, onboarding, mobility and benefits for entities outside the Americas, including Malaysia and several international markets. The role partners with the Payroll Lead, maintains audit-ready records, localises country handbooks, and tracks regulatory changes across emerging markets.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering HR operations across multiple countries.
• Knowledge of employment law and statutory obligations in multiple jurisdictions.
• Payroll literacy and ability to interrogate country inputs/outputs.
• Experience administering mobility, visas or work passes.
• Familiarity with HRIS and HR workflow tools; comfortable with AI-assisted workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end people operations across global entities (excluding Americas).
• Ensure employment compliance, registrations, deadlines and country handbooks localisation.
• Serve as payroll interface and support final settlement calculations.
• Manage mobility, immigration passes, renewals and right-to-work validation.
• Oversee employer-of-record lifecycle, invoices and per-head cost tracking.
• Administer regional benefits and insurance, renewals and vendor management.
• Document performance improvement plans and separation-related paperwork.
• Coordinate leave, probation, confirmations and timely written communications.
• Provide first-line responses to regional HR queries across time zones.
