Job summary

KGW Logistics (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a commercially driven Global Partnership Executive to join the Global Partnership Team. You will manage and develop relationships with overseas partners, and coordinate partner-nominated shipments into and out of Malaysia to grow business.

You will be a key commercial contact between KGW and our international partner network, ensuring excellent service while continuously seeking opportunities to win more shipments and grow each partner account.

Qualifications

• Experience in freight forwarding, logistics or international trade.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with overseas partners.
• Commercially driven with a focus on securing shipments and growing business.
• Strong negotiation, follow-up and problem-solving abilities.
• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Willingness to travel internationally when required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with overseas partners.

• Follow up on enquiries and quotations to secure shipments and grow business.
• Develop new overseas partners and build long-term relationships.
• Work with Pricing to provide competitive quotations and negotiate rates.
• Drive revenue, gross profit and shipment volume within partner portfolios.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities across ocean freight, air freight, trucking, customs clearance, warehousing and other logistics solutions.
• Represent KGW at selected international freight forwarding conferences and networking events.

Job description

KGW is looking for a commercially driven Global Partnership Executive to join our Global Partnership Team.

You will manage and develop relationships with our overseas partners, coordinate partner-nominated shipments into and out of Malaysia, and actively develop these partnerships into new business and revenue opportunities.

You will be a key commercial contact between KGW and our international partner network - ensuring excellent service while continuously looking for opportunities to win more shipments and grow each partner account.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and develop relationships with assigned overseas partners.

Coordinate partner-nominated import and export shipments with Operations to ensure smooth execution.

Follow up on enquiries and quotations to secure shipments and grow business.

Develop new overseas partners and build long-term business relationships.

Work with Pricing to provide competitive quotations and negotiate commercially viable rates.

Drive revenue, gross profit and shipment volume within assigned partner portfolios.

Identify cross-selling opportunities across ocean freight, air freight, trucking, customs clearance, warehousing and other logistics solutions.

Represent KGW at selected international freight forwarding conferences and networking events.

What We Are Looking For

Experience in freight forwarding, logistics or international trade.
