Job summary

VAT Group AG is seeking a Logistics professional to manage end-to-end processes from suppliers to outbound shipments in our Malaysia operations. You will coordinate with suppliers, VAT MY and VAT CH, ensuring timely deliveries, accurate documentation, and cost-effective transport arrangements.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years in logistics, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and experience with global logistics regulations and MITI COO processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Degree holders in logistics with related experience or equivalent.
• 3–5 years in Logistics / shipping with knowledge on global logistics & customs regulations.
• Strong oral & written communications skills.
• Results- and customer-oriented team player.
• Ability to work under pressure and assertiveness.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge on CA/COO application via MITI portal.
• Knowledge on LMW status capabilities & task.
• Able to work as a team & during odd hours / day.

Responsibilities

• Manage, sustain and improve all logistics related processes from supplier, inbound, warehouse to outbound and coordinate with the Order Processing team on shipment matters to meet customer requirements.
• Act as key contact for all logistics issues between Suppliers, VAT MY and VAT CH.
• Coordinate 4PL activities and provide accurate routing information to ensure delivery times and locations are coordinated.
• Source and obtain quotations from forwarders and perform cost comparisons for local transportation.
• Coordinate movements of goods according to the schedule and ensure documentation accuracy (customs, COOs, Origin).
• Work with other departments to ensure smooth shipment execution and achievement of company goals.
• Prepare monthly/yearly reports for customs and regulatory submissions.
