Job summary

VAT Vakuumventile AG seeks a Logistics Specialist for its Malaysia site to optimize the end-to-end supply chain from suppliers to end customers. You will be the main liaison between VAT MY and VAT CH, and drive 4PL activities to ensure on-time, cost-efficient deliveries.

Responsibilities include routing, customs compliance, and collaboration with multiple departments to meet company goals. Diploma/degree in logistics with 3–5 years' experience preferred; strong communication and teamwork

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in logistics or related field.
3–5 years of logistics/shipping experience in a global context.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Manage and improve all logistics processes from supplier to end customer, coordinating with Order Processing.
Serve as the key contact between Suppliers, VAT MY and VAT CH for logistics issues.
Coordinate 4PL activities and ensure timely shipments and cost efficiency.
Provide accurate routing info and liaise with forwarders for quotes and cost comparisons.
Plan daily logistics activities including customs, origin certificates and transportation.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth shipment execution.
