Job summary

Trust Recruit is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to act as the primary contact for customers and coordinate closely with internal operations, shipping lines, and overseas partners to ensure shipments are handled smoothly from booking through delivery.

You will manage documentation, respond to inquiries, monitor schedules, and follow up on all requirements to minimize delays and ensure service standards are met.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in logistics or warehousing recommended.
• Strong communication and customer service focus.
• Proactive in resolving shipment issues and delays.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, handling enquiries and providing timely updates on shipment status, schedules, delivery arrangements, and other logistics matters.
• Coordinate import and export shipments with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, customs agents, overseas agents, and internal operations teams.
• Prepare, check, and maintain accurate freight forwarding documentation (e.g., Commercial Invoice, Packing List, B/L, AWB, SI, DO, PO, COO).
• Monitor shipment schedules and progress from booking to final delivery.
• Follow up on shipping documentation, vessel/flight schedules, customs clearance, delivery arrangements and outstanding requirements.
• Handle customer requests, complaints, and shipment issues professionally, coordinating with relevant departments to provide timely solutions.
• Ensure SOPs and shipping procedures are followed and address discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain records of customer correspondence, shipment details, bookings, quotations, invoices, and shipping documents.
