Job summary

Alfa Laval Malaysia is looking for a self-motivated inside sales professional to support regional customers. You will handle inquiries, prepare quotations, follow up on orders, and assist in developing new business while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Business, Engineering or related field, 2–3 years’ experience in inside sales or sales coordination, and good English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Business, Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years in inside sales / sales coordination.
• Good English and Bahasa Malaysia proficiency.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Good verbal and email communication.
• Proactive, responsible and detail-oriented.
• Able to multitask and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming customer enquiries and prepare quotations.
• Follow up on quotations, purchase orders and sales opportunities.
• Support external sales engineers in developing new business.
• Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable products, spare parts and services.
• Coordinate with technical, service, procurement and logistics departments.
• Process customer orders and monitor delivery schedules.
• Maintain customer databases, sales records and CRM systems.
• Follow up on overdue quotations and outstanding payments where required.
• Assist in preparing sales reports, forecasts and monthly performance updates.
• Maintain good relationships with existing customers.
