Job summary

754 Altera Semiconductor Technology (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an HR Operations professional based in Penang to manage employee inquiries and HR transactions.

You will use Workday and ServiceNow to handle onboarding, background checks, and offboarding while ensuring data accuracy and policy compliance. The role requires 1–2 years in HR operations, strong communication, and advanced Excel skills. The position is a contract employee with shift coverage in Malaysia and collaboration with HR partners

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of experience in HR operations or shared services.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient in PowerPoint for user training, e.g., new hire orientation.
• Hands-on experience with Workday and ServiceNow case management.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for HR inquiries from employees and managers.
• Manage and resolve cases using ServiceNow within SLAs.
• Execute onboarding transactions and coordinate onboarding activities and background checks.
• Assist day 1 new hire orientation onsite and virtually.
• Process offboarding transactions including terminations and separation documents.
• Support benefits inquiries and leave administration; escalate complex matters.
• Maintain and audit employee data in Workday for accuracy and compliance.
• Generate HR documents such as offer letters and verification letters.
• Ensure compliance with employment regulations and internal policies.
• Partner with COEs to ensure seamless case resolution and proactive support.
