Job summary

SF Global Express (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand our international freight forwarding portfolio. You will develop new B2B customers across air/sea freight, cross-border transport, and warehousing solutions, while promoting our services to importers, exporters, manufacturers, traders and SMEs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of sales or business development experience in freight forwarding.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in logistics, supply chain, business, marketing, or related field.
• Experience with international freight forwarding; NVOCC or shipping lines is an advantage.
• Good understanding of international shipping processes, Incoterms, import/export documentation, customs clearance.
• Mandarin speaking and writing ability to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Existing network of shippers/importers/exporters/manufacturers/trading companies is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop new B2B customers for international freight forwarding services.
• Promote freight forwarding products and value-added logistics services to importers/exporters/manufacturers/traders/SMEs.
• Identify customers' shipping requirements and propose suitable freight solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships to ensure long-term growth and outstanding after-sales service.
• Collaborate with Operations, Customs Clearance, and Solutions teams to ensure smooth shipment execution.
• Monitor market trends and identify new business opportunities.
• Achieve assigned sales targets, revenue goals, and KPIs.
