Job summary

AstraZeneca is a global, innovation-driven BioPharmaceutical company seeking an experienced finance professional for Global Finance Services. The role focuses on reporting, planning, forecasting, and controlling to drive financial excellence across the business.

You will partner with operations and finance teams to deliver accurate, timely insights. The position supports month-end close, statutory/tax duties, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Qualified finance professional (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, etc.) or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in accounting, controlling, and/or FP&A within a corporate environment; shared services experiences preferred.
• Experience with SAP and planning/reporting tools (Hyperion/Oracle, PowerBI, BPC, or Anaplan) is advantageous; ability to learn new systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver robust monthly management reporting with clear variance analysis and insightful commentary for operations leadership and Finance Business Partners.
• Partner with business and GFS SPOC during forecast and plan cycles to provide inputs and produce core planning deck analyses.
• Execute month-end close activities, ensure timely, accurate results, and maintain proper documentation and controls.
• Support balance sheet integrity and provide statutory/tax information to auditors and tax authorities as needed.
• Contribute to finance transformation, system enhancements, cost improvements, and cross-functional projects.
