Job summary

AstraZeneca is hiring for a role within Global Business Services Finance in Malaysia. The role reports to the T&E Audit Team Lead and focuses on expense oversight, audit processing, and continuous improvement across the global T&E audit process.

Requirements include a degree in finance/accounting/business admin, 1–2 years in finance, and strong English and Mandarin communication. Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems and MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance, accounting or business administration, or equivalent professional qualification.
• 1–2 years accounting or finance work experience; fresh graduates welcome.
• Good communication in English & Mandarin (oral and written).
• Experience in a shared service centre is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP or other ERP systems.
• Inquisitive, investigative with critical thinking and good problem-solving skills.
• Able to work globally across time zones and cultures.

Responsibilities

• Operate on expense Oversight tool and ensure expense exceptions are properly closed.
• Ensure timely processing of expense exceptions within the defined timeline.
• Acquire end-to-end understanding of Oversight audit workflow and address gaps.
• Highlight and raise issues to management; coordinate resolutions on audit matters.
• Provide audit observations and suggest improvements to tool performance.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardization across the global T&E audit process.
