Job summary

Alfa Laval Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service high-speed separators, decanters and plate heat exchangers at customer sites across the region.

You will perform installation, testing, repair, and preventive maintenance, with focus on uptime and safety. The role requires strong take-charge technical skills, excellent customer communication, and willingness to travel extensively (80 days/year).

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role.
• Strong technical expertise and hands-on experience in the relevant field.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to travel (minimum 80 days/year).

Responsibilities

• Execute trouble shooting, maintenance and minor repair on standard products at customer site.
• Perform plant audit, inspection and preventive maintenance for main key customer.
• Investigate and resolve technical and process problems on standard products at customer site.
