Job summary

Mah Sing Plastics Industries Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an internationally oriented sales professional to drive growth in overseas markets.

The role focuses on identifying new opportunities, planning and executing sales activities, and ensuring existing clients are retained while expanding the customer base. You will collaborate with manufacturing and technical teams, monitor market conditions, manage budgets and export performance data, and travel to meet clients abroad when required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of working experience in international sales within the rubber, plastic, packaging, or related industries.
• Diploma or Degree in Business Management or related field will be an added advantage.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for this role. Training will be provided.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Able to manage budgets, set sales targets, evaluate export performance data, and possess strong costing analysis skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build, maintain, and develop strong relationships with clients.
• Able to travel outstation and overseas independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall sales performance and achieve sales target for international markets.
• Identify new business opportunities by tapping potential customers in international markets.
• Plan, design, develop and implement different sales activities by researching the customer's needs and requirements.
• Ensure existing clients are retained and maintained while developing new customers.
• Ensure all sales and marketing activities are carried out within the agreed budgets, volume, sales, and within the given time scales.
• Monitor market conditions, competitive activities, and general economic conditions in support of business decisions and long‑term planning.
• Manage all communication with manufacturing and technical departments for new product development.
• Constantly review distributor's performance and monitor their work.
