DayOne Data Centers Malaysia I Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a seniorSecurity Manager to lead policy development, operations, and incident response across its data-center cluster in Malaysia.

You will oversee daily security activities, manage staff, and ensure robust access control, CCTV, and monitoring systems. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in security-related field and professional certifications, with proven leadership capabilities and strong knowledge of security protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in security management, information security, or related field is required or strongly preferred.
• Professional certification such as CISSP/PSP or similar is preferred.
• Proven experience in security management, preferably in high-security environments like data centers.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols, systems, and best practices.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills; strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures for multiple data center buildings.
• Oversee daily security operations across all buildings in the cluster and manage security staff.
• Lead risk assessments, audits, and incident response planning to mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Manage access control, CCTV, alarms, and monitoring systems to prevent unauthorized entry.
• Liaise with external security vendors and contractors and negotiate service contracts.
• Design and deliver security training programs for staff and contractors to raise awareness.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and produce regular security reports for senior management.
• Develop and manage the security budget and oversee technology upgrades to enhance security posture.
