Job summary

DayOne Data Centers Malaysia I Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead end-to-end integration of new data centre capacity.

You will coordinate with design, construction, and operations teams, drive readiness planning, and ensure delivery to quality and budget standards. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in data centre operations, PMP/PRINCE2 or equivalent, and strong communication and stakeholder-management skills. Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data centre operations, with a focus on capacity planning and integration.
• Project management experience with relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.
• Strong understanding of data centre infrastructure including servers, networking, storage, and cooling systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end integration projects for new data centre capacity, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and quality.
• Collaborate with capacity planning to understand future capacity needs and ensure smooth integration.
• Coordinate with design, construction, and operations teams for seamless integration of new capacity.
• Develop and execute operational readiness plans, including testing, documentation, and training.
• Implement and maintain QA processes to meet standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise operational impact.
• Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues to senior management.
