Job summary

DayOne Data Centers Ltd. is hiring a Cluster Security Manager for the JB campus to lead security policy development, operations, risk management, access control, and vendor coordination.

The role requires managing multiple sites, implementing training programs, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will oversee security staff, conduct audits, respond to incidents, and manage security budgets while staying abreast of new technologies to strengthen the data centre’s security

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Information Security, or a related field.
• CISSP or PSP certification preferred.
• Proven experience in security management, preferably in a data centre or similar high-security environment.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols, systems, and best practices.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures tailored to multiple data centre buildings.
• Oversee daily security operations across all buildings and coordinate security staff.
• Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Lead incident response efforts and ensure timely resolution of breaches and incidents.
• Manage access control systems and monitor building entry/exit points to prevent unauthorized access.
• Liaise with external security vendors and manage third-party providers.
• Develop security training programs and promote security awareness among staff and contractors.
• Prepare and present regular security reports to senior management.
• Develop and manage the security budget and monitor expenses.
• Stay current with emerging security technologies and implement new systems.
