Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking an experienced Customer Process Engineer (CPE) to support customers in the Data Communication market. The role acts as a critical liaison to ensure TE products are integrated into customer manufacturing environments and drive satisfaction and performance.

The candidate will conduct design reviews, translate assembly processes to TE specs, create training materials, and provide onsite support during NPI stages.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering; 6–10 years of design/field experience.
• Mandarin fluency required to communicate with China customers; English proficiency is a plus.
• Experience with design reviews, tolerance analysis, and root cause problem-solving.
• Experience in PPAP and production startup.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards related to interconnect.
• Proficiency in Creo, Ansys, and test lab equipment.
• Willingness to travel extensively within South Asia.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical liaison between TE and customers, ensuring product integration in customer manufacturing environments.
• Conduct joint design reviews during product development cycles; align TE with customer objectives.
• Translate customer assembly processes to TE design teams and craft TE Application Specs.
• Create application notes and provide product application training to customers and TE teams.
• Provide onsite support during multiple NPI stages and gather feedback for TE design engineers.
• Troubleshoot technical issues with TE products during trials and production.
