Job summary

TE Connectivity’s Data & Devices Business Unit is seeking a Field Application Engineer to support IoT customers (direct and via channel partners). You will act as the technical expert for product selection, design-in assistance, and application support to maximize design-wins.

Report to the APAC Sr. Sales Manager You will serve as a key interface between the sales team, channel partners, and customers, collaborating with internal teams to translate new technologies into customer solutions and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Electrical/Electronics Engineering preferred).
• 3+ years of direct customer-facing technical experience; proven project leadership and prioritization skills.
• Knowledge of RF/antennas, connectors, and manufacturing processes is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills; excellent written/oral communication in English; good cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify new product opportunities based on customer applications; conduct VOC sessions and collaborate with Product Management to define new product requirements.
• Translate new technologies into customer solutions and drive projects with internal teams to achieve wins.
• Master existing product portfolios and relevant industry standards (e.g., IEC, UL). Handle technical complaints and work with engineering/quality teams on resolutions.
• Spot industry trends and support product/technology roadmap development.
• Partner closely with Account Managers to convert opportunities into technical and commercial successes.
• Drive pipeline growth (identification and conversion) across assigned customers.
