Samtec, Inc. is seeking a Customer Quality Engineer (CQE) to investigate customer quality problems, define root causes, and implement corrective actions. You will communicate with customers, gather data, and report on corrective actions.

You will work with Samtec associates globally to resolve issues, possibly traveling domestically or internationally and coordinating with engineering for design improvements.

Formación

• Experience with root cause analysis techniques (5-Why, 8D, etc.).
• Ability to communicate findings and corrective actions to customers.
• Familiarity with quality systems and corrective action reports.

Responsabilidades

• Manage customer concerns and ensure timely resolution.
• Identify root causes with cross-functional teams and define corrective actions.
• Communicate with customers by phone/email and provide updates.
• Collaborate with global Samtec teams to resolve issues, may require travel.
• Investigate issues and prepare corrective action reports per due dates.
• Educate other groups on inspection, rework, or processing changes.
• Provide backup within the Customer Quality Department.
• Input quality issues history to engineering for design improvements.
• Conform to quality system guidelines and corporate procedures.
