Job summary

SAMTEC is seeking a Customer Quality Engineer (CQE) to investigate customer issues, define root causes, and drive corrective actions. You will communicate findings to customers and coordinate with Samtec teams worldwide to resolve quality concerns.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, data analysis, and the ability to follow quality system procedures. Some travel and after-hours communication may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and relevant hands-on experience.
• Knowledge of root cause and corrective action techniques (5-Why, 8D, Fishbone).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced quality environment and analyze problems.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer concerns and ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with departments to define root cause and corrective actions.
• Communicate with customers via phone/email and provide updates.
• Coordinate with global Samtec teams; may involve travel and off-hours.
• Document investigations and contribute to corrective action reports.
