Samtec, Inc is seeking a Customer Quality Engineer (CQE) to drive root cause investigations and corrective actions for customer quality concerns. You will communicate data, updates, and corrective action reports to customers while coordinating with global Samtec teams.

The role requires experience in root cause techniques (5-Why, 8D, Fishbone) and a mechanical/electrical technical background. Occasional international travel and after-hours communication may be required.

Qualifikationen

• One-year technical background internal to Samtec.
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action techniques (5-Why, 8D, Fishbone).
• Ability to sit for more than 90 consecutive minutes.
• Adherence to safety rules and wearing protective gear when required.

Aufgaben

• Manage customer concerns and resolve promptly.
• Work with departments to determine root cause and corrective actions.
• Engage with customers via phone or email to resolve quality issues.
• Collaborate with global teams; travel may be required.
• Investigate issues and write corrective action reports.
• Educate other groups on inspection, rework, or new processing details.
• Provide backup within the Customer Quality Department.
• Provide input to engineering on quality issues to improve designs.
• Adhere to quality system guidelines and work instructions.
