Job summary

Viridien seeks a Compensation Specialist in Malaysia to design, implement and manage compensation programs that are competitive, equitable and transparent. You will collaborate with HR, Finance and Talent Acquisition to benchmark against market data and govern pay structures.

The role emphasizes data analytics, policy maintenance, and support for annual cycles including merit, bonuses and equity programs, while ensuring compliance and transparency across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in compensation or related HR discipline.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Analyze internal and external compensation data to support pay decisions.
• Design and maintain salary structures, pay ranges, and incentive programs.
• Participate in market benchmarking and compensation surveys (Mercer, WTW).
• Provide financial modeling and cost analysis for offers, promotions, and program changes.
• Partner with HR and Talent Acquisition to develop competitive offers.
• Ensure compliance with compensation regulations and pay transparency requirements.
• Support annual compensation cycles (merit increases, bonuses, equity programs).
• Calculate and administer short- and long-term incentive plans.
• Deliver training to HR and managers on compensation policies and tools.
• Maintain compensation policies, frameworks, and documentation.
