Job summary

Opella in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is seeking a Head of Global Capability Centre (GCC) to lead the GCC as a strategic enterprise asset that enables business success, supports capability expansion, and raises Opella’s visibility in the GCC ecosystem.

You will drive growth, build strategic partnerships with government, academia and industry, and foster a high-performing, inclusive culture in partnership with People & Culture.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a Global Capability Centre or in a complex multinational environment.
• Experience driving growth, transformation, capability expansion, or transition initiatives.
• Experience building partnerships with government bodies, universities, industry associations, or networks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the GCC as a strategic enterprise asset for Opella.
• Operate within a hosting model with governance, service management, and talent development.
• Own the GCC cost base and optimise operating expenses and investment decisions.
• Act as trusted advisor to functional and global leaders and enable collaboration.
• Partner with external benchmarks and ecosystem insights to support growth.
• Develop a high-performing, inclusive workforce in collaboration with People & Culture.
